Happy Birthday to our brave members of the U.S. Marine Corps. Check out the great tribute that GoDaddy.com did for the Marine Corps by clicking the picture below. Use the 'Back' option on your browser if you want to return here after seeing the tribute.

Semper Fi and God bless all the men and women in the service of our country.

THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU from Marine Mom!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Luckily for me this year, I will have my Marine son (and his new finacee hopefully!) at home with me for Christmas and New Year's. Its the first time in three years that Eric will be able to come and spend Christmas and the holidays with his family. I am one of the lucky ones as far as military families go.

As Christmas draws closer for many of our military families, we all need to start thinking about our troops that will be far away from home and start trying to get things together to send to them in order to make their Christmas' a little more like home to them. This coming Saturday our local Marine family group will be packing boxes to ship to our Marines for the holidays.

In an effort to help out here I am going to start compiling a list of Christmas package projects that you could help with across the nation. Watch for that soon.

Till then, keep our troops, our government and our country in your prayers if you pray. We all need those prayers right now.

Semper Fi and God bless.
